The Hancock County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board (ADAMHS) provides professional, caring guidance to individuals and families who are dealing with a substance use disorder or mental illness. Our volunteer board is comprised of eighteen Hancock County residents who are appointed by the Hancock County Commissioners and the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. We have been commissioned by the State of Ohio to monitor, fund, and plan mental health and recovery services for Hancock County residents who are dealing substance use disorders and/or mental illness.
We provide supportive housing to those who are recovering from substance use disorders and/or are managing mental health issues. Our housing program helps to provide crucial support to these individuals who want to reintegrate into society and live productive, fulfilling lives.
